No two ways about it, at Northern Arizona Driving School we are a little more performance oriented than most. Our cars feature four-wheel disc brakes with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). Both have front wheel drive, four-wheel independent suspension, and 16 inch factory alloy wheels. Each car has air-bags and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Both of these cars have the smooth GM Sequential Fuel Injection 3.1 litre V-6 engine. They handle extremely well for medium sized cars.

Please don't think that because we won't teach you how to drive in an econo-box that we are going to charge you a huge amount. Each car gets 22 to 26 mpg in city, highway, and freeway driver training. This is as good, or better than, a ToyNisMaz.

Where exactly is it written that you have to learn to drive in a boring car?

Whoa! Is that a Goodyear Eagle F1 tire? Yes. These are "Z" rated tires, so if we really wanted to we could drive at a sustained 150 mph safely. Don't worry, neither car could come close to that speed even downhill with the wind.

The "1 E TKT" on the license plate refers to the decades old Disneyland ticket books. There were A, B, C, D, and E tickets that allowed you on rides. Guess which tickets were needed for the most exciting rides? You may have heard the term, "I'll bet that was an E-Ticket Ride." Ask me to show you the old, original Disneyland Ticket Book that I found on eBay.

Your safety is our first concern. Learning to drive the right way from the start will pay dividends down the road. Oh yeah, and even though it is not required anymore, we still teach parallel parking. New this year! We reposition these same parallel parking cones to set up a "road hazard avoidance" course.

For Licensed Drivers: If you drive a fairly expensive car or truck, the discount on your insurance for taking a drivers-ed class could pay for your training waaaaay before you even finish. If you drive an older car that is relatively inexpensive to insure, drivers training will pay for itself many times over. You will even become a much better and thoughtful driver. Check with your agent or carrier for the exact amount of savings that you will enjoy for many years to come.
